Tuesday hours

The Morton Library will be open TODAY, Jan 26th, with curtailed hours and a limited staff.

We will open at 10:30 am and close at 5:00 pm.

Please be EXTRA CAREFUL moving around the campus, especially on the brick and stone steps in front of the Library.  Our staff will do their best to clear the pavement, but there may be patches of ice, and those steps are always slippery when wet.  Please take your time and use the handrails.

Closed Monday

The Morton Library will be closed on Monday, January 25th.  More time is needed to get the campus and its people back into operation after our heavy snow.

We hope to see you on Tuesday and provide all of the materials you need for your study and research.  In the meantime, don't forget our e-journals and e-books, which you can access from off-campus.  A reminder about your remote login :

Also, you can email our Reference Librarian, Paula Skreslet, if you need help.  She's checking her UPSem email at home :

Monday after the storm

Starting to wonder whether we'll be open tomorrow?  So are we!  Waiting to hear about plans for Monday.  We'll post information here as soon as it's available.  Check your campus email as well!

Storm coming

According to weather forecasts, we seem to be heading for a Snowpocalypse this weekend. The plan is for the Library to be open on Friday until our normal closing time of 6:00 pm.  Then we will be closed on Saturday (to reduce the risk for staff members trying to get here and home again).  Please be prepared for changes just in case.

Special arrangements are being prepared for those taking Ordination Exams tomorrow.   Please keep in touch with Dorothee Tripodi for those details.

Just warning you in advance ... please come in TODAY and stock up on resources to work on this weekend.  Borrow or copy whatever you think you might need.  And don't forget to make the most of our electronic resources, especially the e-journals and e-books accessible through our catalog and databases.

Closed Monday

A reminder that the Morton Library will be closed Monday, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  We'll have normal open hours Friday and Saturday, so you should have time to come in and borrow or copy anything you might need to work on in the next few days.
